Guama (Bay of Pigs)

The Boca de Guamá is the most important wetland in Cuba and the whole of the Caribbean, located halfway between Jagüey Grande and the Bahía de Cochinos (Bay of Pigs). Named after the Taino chief Guamá, it comprises a number of sites where you can enjoy a variety of activities. Among other things, you can visit Villa Guamá, the crocodile farm or the small neighbourhood with its shops and restaurants, where you can sample the local cuisine. A visit to the Caribbean Sea, where snorkelling and diving in the fish cave are the best.

On the way, we will stop after 1 hour of travel at the roadside where we can see the most fertile land of our province Matanzas, sometimes farmers share fruit or sugar canes and coconuts with customers..

  3. Guama Natural Park protected area (crocodile colony) 
  4. Hummingbird (private house)
  5. Snorkelling in the Caribbean Sea (fish cave)
  6. Lunch in a private restaurant (not included in the tour price)
